Aaron Meskin (Host and Supervisor)

Aaron Meskin is Associate Professor of Philosophy at University of Leeds. He works on a variety of issues in the broad area of aesthetics and the philosophy of art, in philosophical psychology, and, recently, on the philosophy of food.

Shen-yi Liao (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow)

Shen-yi Liao is Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at University of Leeds. From 2013-2015, he was also Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Nanyang Technological University. From 2016, he will be Assistant Professor of Philosophy at University of Puget Sound. His research spans cognitive science, analytic aesthetics, philosophy of mind, and moral psychology. His work on the Experimental Philosophical Aesthetics project is supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie International Incoming Fellowship (PIIF-GA-2012-328977).

James Andow (LHRI Postdoctoral Fellow)

James Andow received his PhD from University of Nottingham in 2014. From December 2014 to January 2015, he will work on the Experimental Philosophical Aesthetics project, supported by the Leeds Humanities Research Institute. In January 2015, he will start as a fixed-term (3 years) lecturer at University of Reading.

Amanosi Ekenimoh (Research Assistant)

Amanosi Ekenimoh is an MA student at University of Leeds. His work on our philosophy and coffee subproject is supported by Cultural & Creative Industries Exchange. He is also a food blogger.

Jade Fletcher (Research Assistant)

Jade Fletcher is a PhD student at University of Leeds. Her work on the Experimental Philosophical Aesthetics project is supported by the Centre for Aesthetics.

Nick Watts (Research Assistant)

Nick Watts is a BA student at University of Leeds. His work on our philosophy and coffee subproject is supported by Cultural & Creative Industries Exchange.
